Slim is truly comitted to releasing the work of true blues artists as well as other inovative talent. Hard-core blues,
influenced by classic Chicago blues, Mississippi blues and Texas blues. The blues of South Side Slim, Smokey Wilson,
Mary Dukes and Harmonica Shah, and JT Ross represent the real deal, no frills, just hard rockin' blues with some soul,
for good measure.

New Release News Slim has completed work with actor Terrence Howard on a new CD.  The new release, Shine Through It, is available in all major record stores.  Expect a new CD from Slim real soon.  Full of compelling originality, Life Under Pressure promises to be something really special. California - born, Texas - raised and Detroit - trained, Harmonica Shah has been a force on the Midwestern blues scene since the late sixties. Shah has that classic Chicago/Midwestern - down home/urban style in the spirit of Junior Wells, Little Walter and Muddy Waters. Shah has appeared with artists such as Albert Collins, Pinetop Perkins and Big Daddy Kinsley. Shah was recently granted the "Lifetime Achievement" award by the Detroit Blues Society. His "partner in crime" on this release is the well - known Detroit guitarist Howard Glazer. Glazer has recently received two local awards - Best Guitarist and Musician Deserving wider Recognition. This CD contains seven original songs written by Shah and friends. It was origionally released in the UK by the Bluetrack label. It is being released in the US by South Side Records and distributed in the US by City Hall Records.  More... He hails from Arkansas, but has spent the past thirty years living in Los Angeles. Hollis' lists of credits read like a who's who in the blues. Hollis was Percy Mayfield's main man on the road and in the studio and he features Mayfield's "Please Send Me Someone To Love," on his current CD. He has also recorded and toured with Pee Wee Crayton, Ruth Brown, Big Joe Turner, Lowell Foulson, Papa John Creach and Jimmy McCracklin, just to name a few.
